Stories from the Other Side

The Brief

Stories of the Other Side is a series of bible study spanning across 2 months of the young adults community at The Vine (It’s called the Oneighty). It aims to look into the bible in a different perspective to give young adults a fresh angle to the bible stories. There were 6 weeks and 6 topics in the series.

Challenges

An interesting visual which preserved the context of the bible had to be made. It had to be attractive to the younger audiences and conveys the background of the teaching of the bible in an appropriate tone at the same time.

The Solution

6 visuals were made for the 6 topics, all of them have a dreamy feeling to it. Images related to the bible verses of the particular week were used and overlaid on top of each other to resemble the context of the story of that week. I used this surrealistic approach to tell these stories which were from the ‘other side’.
