Summer Student Recital Enlightenment

for Hong Kong Education Farm Society

The Brief

I was asked to make a visual for the summer student recital of Hong Kong Education Farm Society. It was summer time when the recital took place. A refreshing recital was to be conveyed.

Challenges

Considering the season and the feeling of the recital, I needed to make a visual that was relevant to both of the elements.

The Solution

The design concept of the poster is a summer botanic garden scene made with musical elements. Details of music notes are embedded into the flowers and leaves in the poster. It is an analogy of a lovely musical scene in the summer. I think the poster has a subtle sense of joy with different pastel colours on it which matches the event.
